Happiness.

When talking about happiness, we tend to make, what I consider, a big mistake.

Usually, people, when you ask them about what could bring them happiness, they all ask for a lot. We like to consider that, to reach happiness, we need a lot of things, we need to get to a very high level. We consider that happiness is only in big things and big events.

On the other hand, when a person, talking about happiness, mentions something small, something that might even seem insignificant, it's like people find it even funny. However, I think that that person is intelligent, smart.

If you spend your whole life knowing happiness as big evens and things that there are in your life, you'll probably spend most of your life unhappy, and angry with everyone and angry with the world. And, you don't want to live unhappy, do you? I personally don't want to live unhappy; life's too beautiful to live unhappy.

This is, of course, only my opinion and my "deep" thoughts.

Personally, every time I've tried to find happiness in big, unprobable events and things, it hasn't worked out very well. Nevertheless, every time I've tried to find happiness in little things and events, I've been happier. Maybe those little things seemed like nothing, but, those are things which can be found everyday, even though it's a bad day, and it's a way of feeling good, in a way that's not hard to find.

You know, just, as a friend of mine told me once: find those little things that make you happy, and never let them go. I'm trying to do that, you should do the same.

To fall down, it's okay.

We all fall down sometimes. It's basically a part of being human, and, it's okay to fall down.

I'm saying that because some of us think that to fall down is wrong, that it's not okay. Personally, I disagree with that. Everyone can have their own opinion in this subject, and I personally support people expressing their own thoughts and feelings as long as they don't hurt others with that and they express them the right way, respecting others as well. Since everyone can have their own opinion, I'll share with you my own opinion about this.

Why should it be wrong to fall down if we all do that sometimes? We ALL fall down sometimes. No matter who you are, where you're from, what you've been through, who the people around you are, or so on. I'd dare to say that you've fallen down at least once in your life, and I think that probably more times. And, I'd dare to say as well that you'll fall down more times.

Is it wrong? Is it okay? I don't consider that "wrong". It's okay to fall down. Why? Because, whether we want it or not, we're not more than humans. As long as we keep having feelings, we'll have the strength and the weakness to fall down. If I think that falling down means you're weak, no, I don't think that either. Why should something that makes us humans make us weak?

When someone, for any reason, falls down, we all tend to call them weak. I would say that's a mistake, and the right thing to say is that they're human. That person who's fallen down is human, you are human, and I am human too. So, we all have the right to fall down. You shouldn't feel bad about yourself for falling down, please don't do that.

Nevertheless, there's something you must never forget about falling down. You definitely can fall down, but, you have to get back up again after that. Maybe getting back up again takes you some time, anyway, that's okay too. No matter how long it takes you to get back up again, what matters is that you do it.

You have the right of falling down and hitting the ground, even you have the right of staying on the ground for a while. Just don't forget to get back up again, you must do that.

Crying yourself to sleep.

As you might have noticed, I mostly post at night here. I don't know if you've noticed that or not, but it's okay anyway. Why? I don't really know. I think that the phylosophical part of me gets up at night. It also is because, I think that at night, someone might even need to hear something nice, and I hope that maybe what I write here helps at least one person some day. That, for me, would be enough.

I'm writing this post because I know that tonight, a lot of people will cry themselves to sleep. And, I hate that. I hate that there's a lot of people out there suffering, and I know that I can't help that. I'm supposing that you, reading this, are feeling very bad, and you'll probably cry yourself to sleep to sleep. I wish to be wrong, I wish you're happy and, if that's the case, you can stop reading this and go read something happier. But, if you're not happy, and you're feeling down, you could stay with me for a bit. It won't take much, I promise.

I don't know the reason why you're going to cry yourself to sleep, but I guess that maybe you've been crying yourself to sleep recently more than one night, and more than two. I perfectly know that it sucks to cry yourself to sleep. I think that what hurts the most about it is that you're suffering, and you're suffering alone.

But, there's something I do know. I know that, if you had someone by your side, you wouldn't probably cry yourself to sleep tonight. I can't be by your side. Believe me, I wish I could. Anyway, I'm here. I can't be physically there for you, but, I can do everything in my hands behind the screen. I can listen, I can be there for you, and show you that you're not alone.

Life sucks sometimes, and you must be having a hard day today. Or maybe a hard week, a hard month, or a hard year. It won't last forever, okay? I know it's easy to just say it, but try to think of something good. Being positive always helps. Even when you can't be positive, if you let someone in, maybe that person can show you how to turn on the light. Sometimes, opening up to someone who listens and understands you makes you feel a lot better because you release the pressure of keeping it all to yourself.

I honestly wish that you, the one reading this, you wouldn't cry yourself to sleep tonight. I wish that you'd feel better. I just want you to know that you're not alone, and not only me, there's a lot of people willing to listen to you and help you. If you don't want any of that, there are other things that you can do for not to feel alone. You can read, draw, listen to some music, or just talk to someone about any other thing.

Whatever your decision is, I really hope that tonight you go to sleep with a smile on your face.

Late night thoughts...

It's late at night, well, at least where I am it is. So I'll count it as night where you are too. Or you can read this when night comes, if you want to.

I'm writing this because I know how hard night it is. Maybe for you, it isn't, and night is so amazing and you love it. But, maybe for you night is like it is for me. Maybe for you it's the moment of the day when you fall apart. Maybe there's a reason, and maybe there's not and you just fall apart.

It's okay to fall apart, we all do that sometimes. The problem is not the fact of falling apart. The problem is falling apart alone. I don't know what time is around there, but as late as it is, the worse it is. There's no one there, right? Everyone is sleeping, at least your family is sleeping. Your friends, if they're awake it's because they're doing something. Who's left? It's you... and your thoughts, your memories. There's no one to catch you in your arms, to give you a hug. There's no one to tell you that everything will be okay, even if it's only a lie. There's no one to keep your mind distracted. There's no one there.

And, that's probably all you need... someone to be there.

Now, I've got a question for you. Do you think that, in this moment when you're reading this, no one is feeling the same way? Do you think that no one else is going to cry themselves to sleep tonight? Do you think that no one else feels alone tonight? Do you think that no one else wants someone to be there for them? Do you think that no one else needs someone to care about them? Do you think that... you're alone?

Do you know one of the worst parts of feeling alone? It is that you feel like you're really alone and that you'll be alone forever. But, hey, why should that be true? In this moment, that person who's feeling alone the same way as you, is hiding the same way as you. That means that maybe one day, you'll meet a person like you. A person who has to go through nights like yours, and you both might get through them together.

Meanwhile you find someone like you, get through this night, and the rest to come. I know that you can get through this and more. It's time for you to believe that.

Is life worth living?

I know that this question is a question which answer will depend of the person who answers. I think I have an answer to that question though. Well, more than thinking, I know that I have an answer to that question.

The answer to the question "is life worth living?" is yes. Life is worth living. It definitely is. No matter who you are, where you're from, what you've done... your life is worth living. You have been given the chance of living, which is the best thing you can be given. So live. Live your life the best way you can, leave a mark in this world. But don't leave a scar. Leave a mark, a good one.

Nobody can't change the whole world, but you, as an individual, can make a difference. And making a difference isn't in the big things, it is often in the small things. The small things that people think that don't matter. Sometimes it is smiling to a stranger. Being nice with people. Telling the people you love that you love them, what they mean to you. Those seem like little things that don't make any difference at all, but they really do! The same way that little things like small insults, actions, that don't seem to matter can really hurt people.

So yes, I really think that life is worth it. That doesn't mean I don't havebad days, I do, the same way as you do, but those bad days you should remind yourself how great those good days were. If you think that way, the bad days won't feel that bad. And get the most of those good days, because small things, moments and good days, good moments are what makes life beautiful, worth living. Happiness is found in small happy moments :)

Life is hard for all of us, but it is ALWAYS worth living. It's your choice how you're going to live your life. Make your move count!

Being alone vs. feeling alone.

Sometimes, we talk about being alone and feeling alone as if they were the same thing, and they're not. They are two really different things if we pay attention to both.

Does it ever happen to you that you're in a room full of people, and you feel alone? You're not alone, because there's a lot of people with you, surrounding you, but you still feel alone. You feel like none of them give a damn about you, you feel like they don't even care about you. Or maybe you just don't connect with those people. Maybe you don't feel like being in that certain place, for any reason. You'd rather be somewhere else, with someone else. You just feel alone, no matter the number of people, and no matter if they're talking to you or they're ignoring you. That feeling is horrible, but you're not alone, right?

On the other hand, you can be alone, in your room, in your house, in your car, riding your bike, in the mountain, wherever, but you don't feel alone. You're alone, but you don't feel alone at all. For example, right now writing this, I'm alone in my room, but I don't feel alone. For some reason, I'm alone but I don't feel alone. I personally like to be alone a lot of times. But, hey, you can be alone and feel alone too.

But I hate feeling alone.

Sometimes, I'm with a lot of people, at school, at home, with my friends, or wherever, and I feel so alone. It's not the same, right?

People say it's the same, but they're way different. And, definitely, feeling alone is way worse than being alone. Feeling alone is an awful feeling that you can be whether being alone or not. But it's one of the worst feelings, to feel alone.

Let me tell you that no matter how alone you feel, you're not alone. People do care about you, me included.

Over thinking.

Over thinking is something that we all do sometimes. We over think different stuff, and for different reasons, but we all over think some times... or more times.

Thinking is okay. Thinking is a part of being human, something natural and that we never have to stop doing. If we don't think, we'll become empty, and we'll be like robots, and that's horrible.

But over thinking is way different. Over thinking can be very harmful if you keep on over thinking without even stopping. If you keep thinking of something that happened in the past, you won't be able to move forward. If you keep thinking of something bad that happened, you'll keep feeling bad about it, and the pain of that will paralyze you.

I don't like talking about myself much, but, I can tell you first hand that over thinking you won't get anything good, and you'll get only bad things. I over think a lot and I wish I had never over thought. It might sound very extreme, but it's true. The only things I got from over thinking are being insecure about myself, so much self hate, crying myself to sleep and so much pain. I didn't get anything good from that. Well, I got to write some cool stuff that people seem to like, but I got way more bad things than good ones. Because, I even got more bad things than the ones I mentioned, and way worse ones.

So, please, read something, write something, draw something, go listen to some music, watch some funny videos or do whatever you can to avoid over thinking, because I can assure you it's not good.

If you over think much, I just want you to know that you're not the only one and that I understand you. Over thinking sucks, I know, but you're not alone. I'm here you can count on me and I'm here if you need someone to talk to. Try to distract yourself from that, please.

Love you all!

Change.

We all are scared of change. Some people are more scared of change, and some people are less scared of change, but we all are scared in our own ways. Why are we scared of change?

Change is scary, because changing means that something will be different, it won't be the same. We are usually scared of whatever is different than it is now. The truth is that, the world changes, life changes, and we have to change with it too.

We can't just see everything changing and stay still and wait everything will be the same again. Because, sometimes things change and they won't ever be the same. That's not neccessary bad though, but it's scary. Anyway, stay still is worse than keep moving. You gotta keep moving, even if you don't know where what you want to find is: as long as you know what you want, never stop moving and searching, but never stay still.

Fear can and paralyzes us, but we have to beat that fear of change. We can't let that fear blind us, because that's why a lot of us find it so hard to go on, to go ahead, because fear paralyzes us. But, once we beat that fear, everything will be better. We'll feel free, and we'll be able to achieve what we're looking for, what we want to do in life. If we stay still, we will never be able to get that. And, you have to fight for whatever is worth it.

Don't be afraid of change. If a change is on its way, don't deny it, accept it. The sooner you accept it, the faster you'll get used to it. And the faster you'll move on. Never let that fear of change stop you from anything, you're better and stronger than any fear.

Never forget that.

Words.

People don't usually realize of the true power of words. After all, words are only letters put together to have a meaning. The problem is not only that meaning, it is also the meaning it has to the person you say the word.

We say words without even thinking of the damage they can cause. We say words without even thinking the good things they can cause. We don't usually think before saying words. And, that's normal, because, if we over thought every single word we said, we would lose our minds. Anyway, sometimes, we should think twice before we speak. Why? Because there are things that should never be said.

I've heard people say that telling someone to kill themselves isn't a big deal. Well, it depends. It depends of the person you tell that. Do you know what I really cannot understand? I don't understand when, here on the internet, when someone sees someone saying they've tried to kill themselves or they are suicidal, they tell that person to kill themselves.

Now, you'll think: "but they can be lying". Of course, that's a possibility. There's a lot of people who lie and fake on the internet. But, there's also people who tell the truth. You'll never know if that person is telling the truth or not. Then why telling them to kill themselves? If you don't believe them, it's completely okay, just ignore them. Problem solved. If they want to kill themselves and you tell them to do so, they'll think that it is right to kill themselves. They'll think that it's okay if they do it. They'll think that nobody would miss them, that everyone would be better off without them. And that's not true at all. That's a lie. So, please, don't tell anyone to kill themselves, even if it's joking, because you'll never know who's struggling.

That was an extreme case, but, any other words can hurt.

What about good words? They can affect people too, but positively. Those are better ones. I have the belief that we should tell people how much we care about them. Sometimes, when I'm with my friends and tell them all that I really care about them and if they need anything they can always count on me, they get stranged. But, I like to say that. Because, if one day they're feeling horrible, I want them to remember that. Whenever I feel down, I try to remember things like that said to me by certain people, and it helps, so I just try to to the same, in case they ever need it. Words like that can keep someone alive, so I think you should do it. It's only my advice.

Some people also use the anonymity of the internet to insult others. Why not use it to help others, to tell them good things? I personally prefer to use it to try to help people.

Love you all, stay strong <3

Fate.

Do you believe in fate? Do you believe that there's a destiny written that we cannot change? Do you believe that?

I don't.

Well, everyone can believe whatever they want to believe, but I'll tell you why I don't believe in fate. Actually it's not like an empathic "no". But, I believe that you can be who you want to be, do whatever you want to do. I believe that you're the owner of your fate, of your destiny.

For me, if there's a destiny written, life makes no sense. If what I'm supposed to do or be has been already decided, please someone tell me and I won't make any effort. But, since I don't believe it, I will make it. Because that's what life is about, about making your dreams true, whatever they are, and, the only one who can decide which your fate is, it's you. If you believe that your fate has been written, you won't be able to create your own fate. And, that sucks.

You are what you love, you are what you do. You are made of your own decisions, not other peoples'.

Although, I believe that everything happens for a reason, but I wouldn't consider that related to fate. We have to learn, and some things happen to teach us something. They can change you for good or for bad, but it's your choice if whatever happens to you in life makes you a better person, or a worse one.

It's better to learn and become who you really want to be, not what people want you to be. It's your life, not theirs.

Lies.

There are many kinds of lies, and of liars. We all lie sometimes. But not everyone lies the same way. Not everyone hurts the same people when they lie.

Some people lie, and hurt other people. They make you believe things that aren't true, and when you find out the truth... it hurts you so much. Those lies usually give you a vision of certain people that isn't true. You think people are some way, but they're not.

But not everyone lies that way.

Some people lie, and only hurt themselves with their lies. I'm saying "some people", but I should say that a lot of people lie this way I'm talking about now. Have you ever said "I'm fine" when you weren't? You weren't fine, but you didn't want anyone to worry about you. You didn't want to annoy anyone with your problems. You thought that they had better things to do than listen to your problems. You thought that they wouldn't even care. So, then, why even bother?

You tried so hard not to hurt anyone, because that's the last thing you want, to hurt other people. But, what happened? You ended up hurting who should be the most important person for you: yourself.

We all try to protect the people we care about, and the people we love. But, telling someone about our problems isn't the right thing to do. Because, your problems, no matter how big or small they are, they'll become bigger. And, you don't want that, do you?

We aren't getting anything good from lying to people. Sometimes it's totally okay to lie, but, opening up, and telling the truth solves a lot of problems.

I hope you all have a good weekend!

Perfection.

Most of us try too hard to be perfect. We want to be perfect, no matter what it costs. Why?

Why do we try to be perfect? That's a really good question. Today, in Religion's class, we were talking about life and that stuff, and I asked the teacher about perfection and how it ends up destroying some of us because we try to be perfect, and since we fail, we feel like our life is not worth living. She told me that the problem is that we have the wrong concept about perfection.

She told me that we don't have to be perfect in everything, no. We don't have to be the best in everything. What we have to do is try our best and do our best, in the things we love.

If you want to be a painter, cool, but paint the best way you can, don't slow down. The point isn't about what you do in your life, the point is that you have to do the best you can, but you don't have to be the best. Don't compare to others, compare you to yourself. Don't stress yourself if you feel like you don't do things as good as you'd like to, maybe you still haven't found what you're good at, but you'll find it! There's something you're good at, and I'm sure of that. If you compare yourself to others, all you'll get is the feeling of failure, but if you compare yourself to yourself, you'll get progress.

I'm going to give you an example, and I hope it helps you: I'm a writer; an unknown one without an editorial to publish my books. I write because that's what I love doing. I'm 16 and that's what I love doing, my dream is to be able to publish a book one day. I've written some books, and I never compare my books to other writers' books. I compare my books to my other books, that's how I see if I progressed, if the new book is better to the old ones. And that way, you feel better about what you do, and also you become better and that.

That's only my advice mixed with what my teacher answered to me today in class. But I think you should stop and think about that.

Keep being amazing, you all are amazing the way you are.

Mondays.

Do you hate Mondays? I really feel like everyone out there hates Mondays. I've never heard someone say such thing as: "I love Mondays". But, why do we hate Mondays?

It seems like a really stupid question, I know. We hate Mondays because that means that the weekend is over and we have to go back to work, school or whatever.

I think that we should try to see Mondays differently though. That it is Monday means that a new week is starting. That means you survived another week in your life. That also means that even though there were difficulties in that week, you made it through. The week before you've laughed, you've smiled, maybe cried. The week before you've probably seen the sun, and, since winter is almost here, you might have seen the rain or the snow. The week before you might have seen a person you adore, and a person you hate too. The week before you might have read an awesome book, or watched a cool film. The week before you might have discovered a new band and you love them so much. The week before you've probably hugged someone, or maybe you've kissed someone. The week before you've made mistakes, and you've done things right.

Every week is full of good things and bad ones. But, hey, a new week starting means experiencing a lot of things. It's not a bad thing that it is Monday, because, this week, you'll smile, you'll laugh, you'll see someone you like seeing, you'll listen to your favorite song, you'll see the sun, or the rain, or snow, you might meet someone new, you might have the best day of your life. You'll make mistakes, and you'll learn from them. You might discover a nice book, or watch a cool film. You'll hug someone, and you might kiss someone.

After all, a new week starting, is something totally amazing. You should start to focus on the good things instead of focusing on the bad ones.

Hope you all have a nice week!
